Biografi

Jag växte upp i en liten stad Alingsås ca 4,6 mil norr om Göteborg. Efter att ha studerat make up och färger i London samt Grafisk Design, Avancerad mediateknik och illustration i Göteborg / Stockholm flyttade jag tillbaka till Alingsås med min man och två barn.

Som barn ville jag bara bli makeup artist. Jag älskade att rita och måla. När jag var gammal nog stack jag till England för att gå min makeup kurs på The London School of Make up Greasepaint som på den tiden var det bästa. Som makeup artist kunde jag nu använda alla färger och dessutom förvandla utseendet på människor. Jag fann det fascinerande i många år.
Men när jag fått mitt första barn ville jag studera vidare och gick på NTI skolan i Göteborg där jag studerade Grafisk Design och Avancerad mediateknik.
Jag gjorde en del reklammaterial till olika företag såsom broschyrer m.m
Jag ville sen utveckla mitt sätt att illustrera och gick en illustrations kurs på Berghs School of Communication i Stockholm.

Jag har haft produkter med mina illustrationer ute på DesigtTorget runt om i Sverige. DesignTorget är en kedja där endast utvalda formgivare får ställa ut och sälja sina produkter.

För något år sedan gick jag in för att rama in en bild jag gjort. Ägaren av galleriet tittade på den och gillade den mycket. Han skulle bara ha den med en gång. Då beslöt jag mig för att börja sälja mina illustrationer.

Jag jobbar i mixad media. Tusch, akryl, akvarell, promarkers, kritor och naturligtvis också i de kreativa data program som finns idag.

Jag hoppas i framtiden få göra mycket layoter till företag.
Jag hoppas i framtiden att många av mina illustrationer och tavlor hänger på väggarna hemma hos er som kikar på denna hemsida! Hör av er om ni vill ha layouter gjorda, en egen illustration eller fotografera barnen, vännen , make/maka vem som……

Biography

I grew up in a small town called Alingsås about 400 km Northeast of Gothenburg in Sweden. After studying makeup and colours in London and Graphic Design, Advanced Media Techniques and Illustration in Gothenburg / Stockholm, Helena moved back to Alingsås with her husband and their two children.

“As a child I always wanted to become a Makeup Artist. I just loved to draw and paint. When I was old enough, I left for England, to train at The London School of Makeup, Greasepaint. As a Makeup Artist I could use colours and change the look of people. I found it fascinating for many years!
But after my first child was born, I decided to study further. I went to the NTI school in Gothenburg (The Nordic Technical Institute), where I studied Graphic Design and Advanced Media Techniques.
I did various commissions in graphic design for advertising purposes for different companies.
I wanted to develop my illustration skills even more, and joined the Berghs School of Communication for their Illustration course.

I have done many illustrations for Design Torget, in Sweden. Design Torget is the name of a prestigious chain of designer shops, who sell only especially selected original designs.

About 2 years ago, I went to a gallery in Sweden to have one of my illustrations framed.
The owner of the gallery was thrilled over my art and wanted to buy it right there and then. And that was the day I decided to go for the next step – to really start selling my art.

I create in a mixed media. Ink, acrylic, aquarelle, promarkers, crayons and also by the computer, in the creative programs.”

I also have done layouts for companies that needs to have broschyres and other commercial help.
I do take photos of people who wants to have a nice photo of themselves or their children.
